Terms of Use

Effective July 5, 2026. Plain-language terms for using It's in the Signs.

1. What you're using

It's in the Signs ("the Service") combines real astronomical calculations with traditional almanac folklore to produce daily readings, scores, and planning views. By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Not professional advice

The Service is offered for planning interest, cultural history, and entertainment. Sign-based guidance is folk tradition, not fact, and nothing on the Service is medical, agricultural, financial, legal, veterinary, or other professional advice. Do not delay or replace professional care or judgment because of a reading. Astronomical data is computed carefully but is not certified for navigation, aviation, or safety-critical use.

3. Your use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't scrape at abusive volume, probe or disrupt the Service, misrepresent its output as your own, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.

4. Content & ownership

The site's text, design, illustrations, and the Sign Index presentation are ours or our licensors'. The underlying astronomical facts belong to everyone. Shareable daily cards are meant to be shared — share them with attribution intact.

5. Accounts, waitlist, and paid features

Some features may require an email address or, in the future, a paid subscription. Waitlist signups are governed by the Privacy Policy. Paid-subscription terms (pricing, trials, refunds) will be presented at purchase and added here before billing goes live.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on readings. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes

We may update the Service and these terms; material changes get a new effective date on this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.

8. Governing law & contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: contact us.
